Job summary

Ho-Chunk is seeking a Computer Programmer II to execute technical integration and courseware functionality for the Career Training Continuum revisions. This full-time role requires 3+ years of software development experience, with knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as SCORM data models. Responsibilities include courseware conversion, SCORM packaging, and maintaining version control. The position also involves supporting functional testing and on-site technical evaluations. Flexible hours will be based on mission requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Exposure to SCORM or virtualized training environments is a plus.
• Recognized as a specialty area expert in a specific Naval rating.

Responsibilities

• Execute the manual and tool-based conversion of instructional materials to Adobe Captivate.
• Conduct the SCORM wrapping and packaging of all updated courseware.
• Support T&E phases by conducting functional testing and code analysis.
• Maintain strict version control of all source code and project artifacts.

Skills

Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript

Understanding of SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004

Experience with Unity

Ability to modify output from tools like Articulate Storyline

Experience building custom SCORM wrappers

Strong work ethic

Mentorship skills

Project management software understanding

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
