Parlor’s Handcrafted Ice Creams in Dallas is seeking friendly Scoopers for a part-time role. You will greet customers, take orders, and process payments while maintaining a welcoming front-of-house area.

Training is provided; prior scooping experience is not required. A Food Handlers Certification is preferred. The role supports the shop’s mission of making ice cream from scratch and delivering great service to communities.

Parlor’s Handcrafted Ice Creams

Parlor’s Ice Creams is Dallas’ ice cream shop. We serve classic scooped ice cream with super nostalgic flavors and make our ice cream the way it used to be made back in the day – from scratch, in-house. We source our ingredients from local businesses that use sustainable and organic practices that align with our values, when possible. We source, mix, age, pasteurize, bake, freeze, and scoop all in-house to create the best tasting ice cream out there. Parlor’s Ice Creams has been selling our pints and scoops since October 2019 at local farmers markets and pop-ups. Our Hillside Village scoop shop in Lakewood is our first brick-and-mortar shop.

Time Commitment

Part-Time (about 5-25 hours per week), Monday-Sunday, Holidays, flexible schedule.

Job Description

We are looking for Scoopers for our scoop shop! Scoopers are outgoing, cheerful, and strive to create a great customer experience for everyone who comes into the shop. A successful Scooper greets customers with a smile on their face, cheerfully takes their orders, and accurately takes their payment. Scoopers are always monitoring the cleanliness of the front of house. They also know our brand and processes inside-out and can answer any customer questions. Scoopers are also team players and give their creative input to help the brand grow!

Pay

Pay with Tip Share: averages $13.00-$15.00 per hour
