Job summary

Clementine in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Ice Cream Scooper to greet guests, help with flavor selections, and ensure a memorable guest experience.

You will process sales at the POS, restock shelves, maintain clean displays, and participate in inventory tasks while delivering friendly, fast service in a busy environment.

This role offers evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts with tip eligibility benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or food service preferred.
• Able to operate POS and process transactions.
• Good basic math skills.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Able to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, scoop, and engage guests with flavor recommendations.
• Process sales, returns, and exchanges at the POS; promote loyalty programs.

Ice Cream Scoopers (Purveyor of Yum), create magical and memorable moments in Parlor for all guests. Responsible for creating a positive guest experience by greeting guests, assisting with selection of handcrafted flavors and/or curated merchandise, answering questions, processing sales, and maintaining parlors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Guest Service: Scoop, serve and engage guests by greeting guests, answering inquiries about our decadent flavors and offering personalized recommendations. Provide consistent and correct scoop sizes.
• Sales & Transactions: Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the point of sale (POS) system. Promote sales, loyalty programs, and upselling techniques.
• Store Operations: Restock shelves, arrange merchandise, set up displays, maintain cleanliness, and perform inventory tasks such as receiving shipments.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the store is visually appealing, organized, and well-stocked.
• Loss Prevention: Follow safe work practices and security policies to prevent theft.
• Assist with other tasks as needed
