Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a proactive Purchase Order Expediter to ensure timely delivery of materials critical to production at our Richland, Mississippi site. You will expedite open purchase orders, analyze SAP-related data, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain uninterrupted production flow.

You will use SAP and SCM tools to monitor orders, resolve delays, and ensure accuracy in order confirmations and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAP, SCM tools, and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong skills in interpreting reports, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions.
• Proactive approach to resolving complex issues in a fast-paced supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as an order expediter, prioritizing workflows to meet dynamic production requirements.
• Analyze open purchase orders and MRP messages in SAP to proactively resolve delays and align delivery schedules with production needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite materials, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality specifications.
• Update order confirmations and manage real-time data in SAP and SFM tools to keep records precise and current.
• Troubleshoot receiving and invoicing discrepancies to maintain smooth operations.
• Communicate effectively with buyers and other internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials critical to meeting production requirements. By actively managing and expediting open purchase orders, you will play a key role in maintaining the seamless flow of materials needed to support uninterrupted production processes.
