Job summary

Siemens Energy Staffing is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Charlotte area operations. The role involves accepting and organizing goods, operating forklifts and cranes, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining stock integrity.

You will prepare items for inspection, package shipments, and coordinate internal transfers within the facility. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, successful vision/hearing screening, and legal work authorisation in the USA.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Vision and Hearing Screen Required; on-site in Charlotte after hire.
• Must be authorized to legally work in the USA; read/write English.
• Must pass Forklift and Crane Certification tests.

Responsibilities

• Accept incoming goods and compare with shipping documents.
• Check goods for damage and document findings.
• Handle transport equipment (forklift, crane, etc.).
• Store, stage, and issue goods in proper systems; regular stock checks.
• Assemble deliveries from storage, verify quantity and article numbers against notes.
• Package deliveries per shipping instructions and regulations.
• Move shipments within and outside premises as needed with appropriate equipment.
• Prepare parts for inspection and staging.

• Accepts incoming goods and compares them with the shipping document (Material number, description, quantity).
• Checks incoming goods for visible damage, documents them and provides the information if required.
• Takes care for correct use of transport equipment (hand-guided industrial trucks, forklift, etc.).
• Arranges the acceptance, storage, commissioning, and removal of goods in the storage area and records them in the appropriate systems.
• Organizes a regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.
• Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and reviews for completeness and accuracy (e.g., quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).
• Completes packaging of deliveries having regard to shipping instructions, common methods of dispatch, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g., Dangerous Goods) in the given framework
• Adds the corresponding shipping documents to the outgoing goods.
• Completes transports inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation. (Crane, Forklift, Pallet Jacks, Carts, etc.)
• Clean parts with pressure washer, as required.
• Prep and Stage parts for inspection.
