Position/Job Summary:

The Scientist/Senior Scientist in the Biologics Services group supports PK, immunogenicity, and/or biomarker projects. This role involves acting as a Principal Investigator (PI), managing project planning, execution, and quality, ensuring compliance with project quality standards and timelines, with support from lab management. The role also includes overseeing and guiding junior scientists and serving as the primary technical contact with clients and internal teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Serve as PI, managing planning, execution, and quality of projects, including method development, qualification, and validation.
2. Perform testing supporting PK, immunogenicity, and/or biomarker projects.
3. Design studies, conduct lab testing, analyze data, and review as PI.
4. Author and review test methods, study protocols, and related documents.
5. Ensure project timelines, quality, and compliance are met.
6. Oversee and enforce practices among junior scientists following FDA guidance, SOPs, and industrial standards.
7. Assist junior scientists with troubleshooting and technical issues.
8. Manage client communications, participate in teleconferences, and provide weekly updates to sponsors.
9. Maintain laboratory operations.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• PhD in biochemistry, biology, pharmaceutics, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or
• MS/MA in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, pharmaceutics, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in ligand binding assay development, qualification, and validation.
• Experience with PK, ADA, and/or biomarker assays is strongly preferred.
• At least 4 years of industrial experience; CRO experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of GLPs and regulatory standards.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and technical communication skills.
