Job Title: Senior Scientist/Principal Investigator, Bioanalytical Services
Location: Exton, PA (Corporate)
Responsibilities:
- Validate unique scientific methods, assays, techniques, reports, etc. and run sensitive, reliable, and efficient LC-MS/MS bioanalytical assays for TK/PK assessment.
- Perform high-volume sample analysis and data interpretation, including data QC.
- Maintain project schedules and timelines.
- Communicate project status, timelines, and data effectively with the Principal Investigator, addressing any issues.
- Manage method development and routine sample analysis projects, coordinating with the Principal Investigator to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate with Project Management and QC for timely sample analysis and results assessment.
- Assist in preparing study summaries and reports.
- Ensure regulatory compliance for each study and address QA audit findings.
- Maintain tools, computer programs, and SOPs for studies; research literature for new techniques to enhance capabilities.
- Contribute to training and mentoring junior staff, ensuring adherence to GLP regulations and SOPs.
- Set up, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation, following safety precautions.
- Oversee bioanalytical study conduct, timelines, and communication as the primary study contact.
- Manage all technical aspects of study conduct, including sample receipt, analysis, reporting, archiving, and sample disposition.
- Lead discussions on method development, validation, and sample analysis.
- Supervise and mentor laboratory scientists on projects and results.
- Collaborate with support teams to deliver quality results on time.
Education and Requirements:
- Knowledge of experimental design, data collection, and analysis software.
- Experience with Sciex Analyst software and Watson LIMS is advantageous.
- Proven teamwork and excellent communication skills.
- Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related field with 1-2+ years of experience, OR Master’s with 4+ years, OR Bachelor’s with 6+ years of experience.
