Job summary

Cyntel Technologies, LLC is seeking a MID SPECIAL SECURITY TECHNICIAN for Dyess AFB, TX. This full-time role requires Active TS/SCI clearance and extensive SCI security duties, including personnel security, SCIF accreditation, and JPAS management.

You will maintain SCI controls, conduct security briefings, process eligibility requests, and ensure proper safeguarding and dissemination of SCI materials. Independent, detail-oriented work is essential in this mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Formal SSO certification training within the last five years.
• Independent worker with broad security principles knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of ICD directives (704/705) and DoDM 5105.21 and related regulations.
• Ability to gather facts, analyze, plan actions, and solve security problems.
• Assist the SSO with SCI access processing and eligibility.
• Audits of classified material and inspections of SCIFs/containers as needed.
• Experience leading teams and applying analytic methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SCI directives, regulations, manuals, and guidelines to discharge SSO duties.
• Ensure SCI is properly controlled, transmitted, transported, and safeguarded.
• Ensure SCI is destroyed by authorized means.
• Disseminate SCI only to authorized personnel with need-to-know.
• Investigate SCI security infractions and prepare required reports.
• Maintain liaison with collateral security officials to ensure mission success.
• Provide SCI personnel/physical/technical security actions and trainings.
• Process SCI position and eligibility requests and conduct related briefings.
• Certify and receive SCI visitor clearances/accesses; maintain JPAS to reflect personnel under organization.
• Ensure SCIF accreditation paperwork and annual self-inspections comply with standards.
