Job summary
Akina Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join an on-site, SCIF-enabled team. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and polygraph within 7 years, with a focus on reliable platform orchestration of microservices.
The DevOps Engineer will develop Infrastructure as Code, automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools, plus manage CI/CD pipelines and AWS infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 12+ years of professional DevOps or related experience.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and cloud-native logging/metrics tools.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD.
- Experience with AWS cloud platforms.
- Ability to support an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Develop Infrastructure as Code and automation scripts.
- Provision managed services and build tooling.
- Install and tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, Nifi, and logging/metrics tools.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD.
- Administer AWS cloud infrastructure.
