Job summary

Markon is seeking professionals for a SCIF Inspector II (Journey-Level) role in US-DC. You will independently conduct inspections of SCIFs, ensure ICD 705/IC S 705-1 compliance, and coordinate with FSOs and project teams to document findings.

The position requires a TS/SCI clearance, a relevant technical degree or equivalent experience, and strong technical writing and stakeholder communication skills. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity with growth potential.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Associate's degree in a relevant technical field; 6 years of directly relevant experience may substitute.
• 4+ years of SCIF inspection experience under ICD 705 and IC S 705-1.
• Proficiency in at least three inspection disciplines: physical security, access control, RF/TEMPEST, acoustics, and information systems security.
• ICD 705 Inspector Training completed.
• CDSE CD116 TEMPEST training or awareness-level TEMPEST training.
• Experience operating inspection and test equipment and documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct routine SCIF inspections per ICD 705 and related standards.
• Perform inspections across disciplines: physical security, access control, RF/TEMPEST, acoustics, and info systems security.
• Operate inspection/test equipment and document findings.
• Prepare clear, accurate inspection reports and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with FSOs, customers, engineers, construction teams, and security professionals.
• Identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation.
• Support multiple inspections in a fast-paced, mission-focused environment.
