Job summary

The Intrepid Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent to support renovation projects within secure facilities for the Intelligence Community. You will oversee day-to-day on-site operations, ensuring work is safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with security and facility requirements.

This senior role requires 7+ years of field supervision in renovations or tenant improvements, experience in SCIF environments, and the ability to coordinate with government stakeholders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 7+ years of construction field supervision experience, with renovation/tenant improvements
• Experience in secure government facilities, SCIF environments, or IC/DoD projects
• Knowledge of UFC, ICD-705, and SCIF construction requirements
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contract documents
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontract trades on active renovations

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities for renovation and facility service projects within secure government facilities
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to progress according to schedule
• Maintain strict adherence to security requirements, access control, and SCIF standards
• Review drawings, specifications, and documents to ensure compliance with contract requirements
• Conduct daily site inspections for quality, safety, and workmanship
• Manage schedules and sequencing to minimize disruption in occupied facilities
• Collaborate with project managers, government reps, and facility managers to resolve field issues
• Track milestones, RFIs, change orders, and field directives
• Ensure OSHA and government construction standards compliance
• Support closeout activities including punch lists and turnover packages
• Maintain communication with security personnel for escorts and secure material handling
