Green Life Science is seeking a PhD-level Scientist to join a rapidly growing global preclinical research organization. You will partner with academic and biotech clients to design and discuss mouse model strategies, translating scientific objectives into actionable study plans and solutions.

The role blends rigorous scientific credibility with commercial focus, requiring excellent communication, relationship-building, and a willingness to travel up to 25% regionally.

Qualifications

• PhD required in immunology, pharmacology, cancer biology or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with in vivo mouse models in a research setting.
• Strong understanding of preclinical research and translational biology.
• Desire to move into a client-facing/business development career path.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to explain complex science clearly.
• Commercial curiosity and business acumen.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Based in Washington or Pennsylvania; willingness to travel regionally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Act as scientific partner to academic and biotech clients, discussing preclinical study design and mouse model solutions.
• Engage with researchers to understand objectives and propose in vivo strategies.
• Support business development through scientific presentations, client meetings, conference attendance, and relationship building.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with capabilities and study approaches.
• Build long-term relationships with clients across academia, biotech, and pharma.
• Travel locally within the US (~25%) for client meetings and events.

Education
