Qualifications

• PhD in molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record solving challenging problems in gene editing or delivery.
• Experience developing mechanistic cell-based assays and troubleshooting complex biological systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, evaluation, and benchmarking of non-viral donor template delivery methods for recombinase-based gene insertion.
• Design and execute hypothesis-driven experiments to improve donor template stability and trafficking.
• Develop quantitative assays to evaluate delivery and insertion fidelity.
• Analyze data and present conclusions to stakeholders across the organization.
• Collaborate with translational teams to validate delivery approaches in relevant systems.
• Stay up to date on gene editing advances and delivery systems.
• Mentor junior team members and maintain high execution standards.
