Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc is seeking a Scientist II in San Diego, CA, to operate flow cytometry and cell culture for a 12-month contract. The role supports antibody reagent development for a leading immunology provider. This contract on W2 requires US work authorization; first shift, 40 hours per week, $20–$30/hour.

The Scientist II will design and execute experiments, analyze complex data, and present findings at lab meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance while contributing to project milestones.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS in biology (or related life science) with 2+ years industry experience; MS preferred.
• Experience designing, performing and analysing flow cytometry experiments.
• Experience operating a flow cytometer, preferably X20, LSRII or Canto.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute experiments with varying complexity using multi-color flow cytometry.
• Analyze own data, solve problems with minimal guidance and plan follow-up experiments.
• Interpret and present data of moderate to high complexity within cross-functional teams.
• Prepare technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses.
• Contribute to milestones of specific projects.
• Maintain compliance with area requirements.
• Promote a safe work environment and participate in EH&S programs.
• Perform other related duties as required.
