Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Scientist – Analytical / Biophysical Characterization for a prominent client. Location: Ridgefield, CT. Pay rate: $40.32 per hour.

Duration: 1 year. The role supports development of therapeutic modalities including peptides, oligonucleotides, viruses, antibodies, and non-viral delivery systems. You will design and perform experiments, interpret data, and prepare protocols and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Hands-on wet chemistry and formulation preparation.
• HPLC chromatography and method execution.
• SEC and other chromatography modes.
• FFF/AF4 for biophysical characterization.
• Experimental design and data interpretation.
• Lab equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, antibodies, viral or non-viral delivery systems.

Job Title: Scientist – Analytical / Biophysical Characterization
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Pay Rate: $40.32/hr

Execute laboratory studies supporting new therapeutic modalities, including peptides, oligonucleotides, viruses, antibodies, and non-viral delivery systems. Design and perform routine and non-routine experiments with minimal supervision, troubleshoot laboratory equipment and experimental methods, and independently interpret and report scientific data.

Prepare buffers, mobile phases, and multi-component formulations. Perform chromatographic and biophysical characterization studies and maintain laboratory equipment and materials. Develop protocols, SOPs, and technical reports while ensuring laboratory activities comply with applicable regulations and procedures.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
