Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Scientist – Analytical / Biophysical Characterization for a prominent client. Location: Ridgefield, CT. Pay rate: $40.32 per hour.

Duration: 1 year. The role supports development of therapeutic modalities including peptides, oligonucleotides, viruses, antibodies, and non-viral delivery systems. You will design and perform experiments, interpret data, and prepare protocols and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, or related field.
• Hands-on wet chemistry and formulation preparation.
• HPLC chromatography and method execution.
• SEC and other chromatography modes.
• FFF/AF4 for biophysical characterization.
• Experimental design and data interpretation.
• Lab equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with peptides, oligonucleotides, antibodies, viral or non-viral delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory studies supporting new therapeutic modalities.
• Design and perform routine and non-routine experiments with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot laboratory equipment and methods.
• Interpret and report scientific data.
