Role: Scientist I supporting pre-clinical development of novel immunotherapies, including viral vectors and mRNA platforms, with a focus on gene therapy vector cloning, characterization, and process optimization.
Responsibilities: perform molecular cloning, cell culture, vector characterization, bio-assay development, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues; support scale-up, technology transfer, and process robustness; document experiments and communicate findings; support preclinical studies and maintain laboratory operations.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology, Microbiology, or related field with 10+ years, or Master’s with 8+ years, or PhD with 1+ year in biopharmaceutical process development or GMP manufacturing; experience with viral vectors, molecular cloning, tissue culture, and working in BSL-2 labs.
