Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a laboratory professional with strong aseptic technique and a minimum of one year of lab experience. The role involves performing and reviewing reagents, samples and media preparation, and conducting routine cell culture with meticulous documentation in line with GMP/GLP standards.

The position is full-time on first shift (M-F, 8am-4pm) in Lancaster, PA. Occasional travel up to 25% may be required; no remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or related concentration.
• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate good aseptic technique in laboratory operations.
• Perform/review reagent, sample, and media preparations per procedures.
• Conduct routine cell culture and document results clearly.
• Record testing observations, deviations and results in compliance with regulations.
• Support LEAN initiatives and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Work full-time first shift from 8am to 4pm in Lancaster, PA.
• Travel up to 25% may be required; not remote.

Job Description

• Experience with good aseptic laboratory technique
• Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity and high degree of accuracy/precision
• Perform/review preparations of reagents, samples, and media according to procedures.
• Perform or review routine cell culture technique
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
• Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
• Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation/review
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's Demonstrate technical writing skills
• Process/review data, generate/review reports, and evaluate data
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Independently seek out work
• Perform laboratory maintenance as required
• Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires
• Support LEAN initiatives
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Ensures good housekeeping with a neat, clean and orderly workspace
• Performs other duties as assigned

Additional Information

Working schedule will be Full-Time, First Shift, M-F 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
