Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA is seeking a motivated laboratory professional for full-time, first-shift work (M-F 8am-4pm). The role requires aseptic technique, precision, and accuracy across reagents, cell culture, and data reporting.

Travel up to 25% may be required; relocation is not offered. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in biology/biochemistry/chemistry or related field and at least 1 year of lab experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry or related degree concentration.
• 1 year minimum of previous laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Experience with good aseptic laboratory technique.
• Performs laboratory operations with dexterity and high accuracy/precision.
• Prepare and review reagents, samples, and media according to procedures.
• Perform or review routine cell culture technique.
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods.
• Read and understand analytical procedures and internal SOPs; demonstrate technical writing skills.
• Process and review data; generate and review reports; evaluate data.
• Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility; work independently.
• Perform laboratory maintenance as required; overtime as workload requires.
• Support LEAN initiatives; maintain safe and orderly workspace.

Job Description

• Experience with good aseptic laboratory technique
• Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity and high degree of accuracy/precision
• Perform/review preparations of reagents, samples, and media according to procedures.
• Perform or review routine cell culture technique
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
• Understand and perform calculations as required by test methods
• Understand and utilize computers for information access, calculations, and report preparation/review
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP'sDemonstrate technical writing skills
• Process/review data, generate/review reports, and evaluate data
• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Independently seek out work
• Perform laboratory maintenance as required
• Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires
• Support LEAN initiatives
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Communicates effectively with client staff members
• Ensures good housekeeping with a neat, clean and orderly workspace
