Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a laboratory analyst for the second shift (Tuesday–Saturday) to perform analyses of bio/pharma ingredients and products, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance. You will train with an experienced analyst, prepare reagents, and operate instruments with precision.

The role requires a Bachelor's in microbiology or biology, US work authorization, and the ability to work evenings with occasional overtime and travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related field.
  • Authorized to work in the US indefinitely without sponsorship.
  • Experience with microscopes and biological safety cabinets.
  • Experience with media preparation.
  • Pipetting and organism/culture preparation.

Responsibilities

  • Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain high quality and productivity metrics.
  • Demonstrate strong client service skills and effective communication.
  • Meet quality targets and work well in a team.
  • Document testing, observations and results accurately per regulations.

Job Description

This position is SecondShift, Tuesday-Saturday

Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision
  • Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
  • Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
  • Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
  • Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
  • Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
  • Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspace
  • Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires

Working schedule will beFull-Time, Second Shift, Tues-Sat 3pm-11pm.Candidatescurrently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PAare encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given.25% travel may be required. This position isNOTremote.
