Job summary

Eurofins USA PSS Insourcing Solutions in Indianapolis is seeking a laboratory technician to support cell culture activities, plate screening, and imaging automation. The role involves maintaining records, preparing materials, and collaborating with internal and external clients.

The candidate will contribute to data analysis, perform routine assays, and help ensure compliance with lab policies while benefiting from full-time hours and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year in a lab setting.
• Strong aseptic technique.
• Proficient with IT tools and data recording.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience in molecular and cell biology techniques.

Responsibilities

• Cell culture support for cell line generation and banking.
• Plate screening in 96-well formats and hit consolidation.
• Operate equipment including cell counters and metabolite analyzers.
• Perform phenotypic assays and flow cytometry analysis.
• Imaging automation and data mining.
• General lab support and inventory management.

Job Description

• Cell culture supporting cell line generation - passaging cells, banking, expression studies (shake flask/bioreactor studies)
• Plate Screening - whole cell 96 well plate formats, hit picking/consolidation, antibody capture
• Equipment experience - cell counters, metabolite analyzers, titer measurement, liquid handlers
• Phenotypic suitability assays, flow cytometry analysis, and software analysis and reports
• Imaging automation and data mining
• Overall general lab support - order media/materials, restocking supplies, eLN documentation

Qualifications:
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
• At least 1 year of experience in the lab setting
• Strong aseptic technique
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Experience in molecular and cell biology lab techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Proficiency in IT-related skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Additional Information

• Position is Monday- Friday 8:00 AM- 5:00PM. Overtime as needed.
• Tasks require repetitive motion and standing for long periods of time.
• May be required to respond to off-shift operational issues.
