Job summary
Tate & Lyle is seeking a Technical Service Account Manager to translate client needs into customized solutions. You will act as both a technical advisor and sales representative, identifying growth opportunities and supporting product customization.
The role involves collaboration with Innovation, R&D and Sales & Account Management, maintaining key account records and contributing to tailored sales strategies. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of relationship management, sales and a key technical/scientific discipline within Technical Service.
- Ability to operate independently and coach juniors on technical/operational matters.
- Accountable for own targets and reviewing the work of juniors.
- Ability to analyze and identify customized solutions for customers.
- Communicate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical consultant for assigned accounts and develop product solutions.
- Collaborate with Innovation, R&D and Sales to communicate client requirements.
- Present technical insights to clients and address concerns.
- Identify opportunities for product or service upsell.
- Maintain detailed account records for the portfolio.
- Contribute to customized sales strategies within the team.
