Job summary

Tate & Lyle is seeking a Technical Service Account Manager to translate client needs into customized solutions. You will act as both a technical advisor and sales representative, identifying growth opportunities and supporting product customization.

The role involves collaboration with Innovation, R&D and Sales & Account Management, maintaining key account records and contributing to tailored sales strategies. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of relationship management, sales and a key technical/scientific discipline within Technical Service.
Ability to operate independently and coach juniors on technical/operational matters.
Accountable for own targets and reviewing the work of juniors.
Ability to analyze and identify customized solutions for customers.
Communicate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

Serve as a technical consultant for assigned accounts and develop product solutions.
Collaborate with Innovation, R&D and Sales to communicate client requirements.
Present technical insights to clients and address concerns.
Identify opportunities for product or service upsell.
Maintain detailed account records for the portfolio.
Contribute to customized sales strategies within the team.
