Job summary

An established laboratory equipment supplier is seeking a Field Sales Representative to serve as the primary contact for accounts within 50 miles of downtown Boston. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry and 2+ years in technical sales, focusing on building customer relationships and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities include conducting product demos, providing technical support, and attending regional events. This position offers a competitive salary, uncapped commission, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of technical sales experience is required.
• Experience conducting demos for analytical instruments like GC and FTIR.
• Self-motivated and able to manage a territory independently.
• Strong communication, highly organized, and able to travel extensively.

Scientific Sales – Lab Glassware

An excellent opportunity to join a well-established laboratory equipment supplier as a Field Sales Representative, serving as the primary point of contact for all accounts within 50 miles of downtown Boston, MA. Your mission is straightforward: maintain strong relationships with existing customers while proactively identifying and pursuing new business to drive annual territory growth.

Primary Responsibilities

• Grow territory revenue through new customer outreach and expansion of existing accounts.
• Conduct hands‑on product demos and provide technical guidance during site visits.
• Support customers with quotes, product selection, new lab setup assistance, and basic installations.
• Collaborate with inside sales, technical service, and customer service teams to ensure strong post‑sales support.
• Attend regional events, tabletop shows, and industry meetings to promote the product portfolio.

Candidate Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry or related field is essential, as is 2+ years of technical sales experience.
• Experience conducting demos for GC, FTIR, or similar analytical instruments.
• Strong communication skills, highly organized, and comfortable with extensive travel.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, and able to manage a territory independently.
