Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI seeks a senior leader to oversee GMP routine testing within the pharmaceutical product testing department. You will drive quality metrics, lead analysts and group leaders, and coordinate staffing and training to meet client needs.

This full-time role reports to senior management, partners with clients, and shapes the vision and operations to grow the business while fostering teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field with 5+ years in a lab.
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in a GMP environment.
• Experience managing customer programs (stability/release for clinical, Phase 3, and/or commercial).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for departmental quality and business metrics.
• Lead a team of analysts, data reviewers and group leaders; assess staffing and training.
• Investigate and develop laboratory processes to streamline operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and at least 5-10 years of laboratory experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership.
• Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Eurofins to be considered.
• Applicants must hold a position of GL3 level or above within Eurofins to be considered.
• Applicants needs to have experience managing customer programs (stability/release for clinical, Phase 3, and/or commercial programs).
• Must be able to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well on your own with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate key problem solving skills: active listening, analysis, research, creativity, communication, dependability, decision making, and team building.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, first shift position Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
