Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services is seeking a full-time lab professional in Portage, MI to coordinate workflow and monitor TAT. The role involves coaching others, solving instrument issues, and leading investigations to establish root causes and CAPA.

Must have a Bachelor's in chemistry/biology/biochemistry with at least 4 years of lab work and US work authorization. The position offers a 4x10 schedule (Mon-Thu, 2pm–12am), comprehensive benefits, and opportunities to contribute to LEAN

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow and monitor to meet TAT.
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews and interview applicants; maintain training records for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans.
• Perform routine and non-routine work per applicable technical description for the individual.
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to personal development and operational improvements.
• Troubleshoot and solve instrumental and method issues.
• Lead investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA.
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations.

Job Description

• Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
• Conduct semi-annual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, evaluate succession plans in preparation for growth
• Perform work for both routine and non-routine work as specified by separate and applicable technical job description for individual
• Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
• Troubleshoot and solve both instrumental and method issues
• Lead and write investigations independently, establish root cause and robust CAPA
• Support and drive LEAN initiatives and operational improvements
• Perform all functions in support of and in compliance with all state and federal employment regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related degree concentration and at least 4years of laboratory experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday through Thursday, 2pm - 12am. 4x10 schedule, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Portage, MI are encouraged to apply.
