Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Portage, MI seeks a senior leader to oversee GMP routine testing in the pharmaceutical product testing department and drive quality metrics. You will lead analysts, data reviewers and group leaders, assess staffing, and ensure training while serving as the main client-lab liaison.

Responsibilities include defining a vision for the department, developing streamlined processes, and fostering teamwork across groups to grow the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field with 5–10 years of laboratory experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in a laboratory setting.
• Experience managing customer programs (stability/release for clinical, Phase 3, and/or commercial).
• GL3 level or above within Eurofins.
• Strong problem solving and team-building skills.

Job Description

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or relateddegree concentration andat least 5-10 years of laboratory experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in leadership.
• Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 5+ years of experience with Eurofins to be considered.
• Applicants must hold a position of GL3level or above withinEurofins to be considered.
• Applicants needs to have experience managing customer programs (stability/release for clinical, Phase 3, and/or commercial programs).
• Must be able to multitask and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
• Must work well on your own with minimal supervision.
• Must demonstrate key problem solving skills: active listening, analysis, research, creativity, communication, dependability, decision making, and team building.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, first shift position Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
