Qualifications

• PhD or BS/MS with hands‑on lab experience in compound/sample management or related discipline.
• Experience leading or supervising a laboratory team with accountability for people and outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of data integrity, LIMS, and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across all sample management functions.
• Serve as primary operational contact for Indianapolis discovery scientists.
• Own site throughput, queue status, and processing time metrics.
• Maintain readiness across instrumentation and automation platforms.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for the site team and develop staff capabilities.
• Foster safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate on workforce planning and succession for key roles.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance across LIMS and workflows.
• Drive process improvements with automation and cross‑functional partners.
• Document and maintain SOPs for critical processes.
• Engage with chemistry, biology, and computational teams to align needs.
• Share best practices across the GSM network.
• Contribute to expansion into new modalities.
