Job summary

Tempus, a leader in precision medicine, is seeking a Science Writer to join the Scientific Communications (SciComms) team to lead cross-functional publication efforts and translate complex research into clear, publication-ready manuscripts.

You will manage manuscript preparation, abstracts, posters, and slides, ensuring adherence to GPP/ICMJE guidelines, and collaborate with researchers, medical professionals, and commercial partners across oncology, cardiology, and other areas.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical/life sciences or quantitative field.
• Exceptional scientific writing, editing, and organizational skills.
• Experience writing and submitting manuscripts, abstracts, grants, or other technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of scientific/clinical manuscripts for publication in top-tier journals.
• Draft, edit, and manage conference materials (abstracts, posters, slide decks).
• Collaborate on cross-functional communication initiatives to enhance visibility of Tempus research.
• Manage publication roadmaps with timelines for generation, submission, revision, publication.
• Ensure adherence to GPP/ICMJE and internal guidelines.
• Support targeted literature searches and generation of technical documentation.
