Job summary

JacobsWyper Architects, a full-service design firm, seeks a Project Manager, Science and Technology to lead planning and execution of complex projects from inception through completion.

The role requires strong client engagement, coordination with design teams, and oversight of subconsultants and engineering partners to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals, with focus on laboratory and scientific facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture required.
• 8+ years of project management experience in S&T or related sectors.
• Knowledge of lab planning and relevant codes.
• Strong client-facing and presentation skills.
• Experience with Deltek and design software.
• Ability to manage scopes, budgets, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of design projects from inception to completion.
• Assist with proposals, estimating fees and scope.
• Develop work plans and track progress against contracts.
• Monitor project financials in Deltek and fees.
• Attend client meetings and interface with clients and consultants.
• Coordinate with Project Architect(s) to align goals.
• Serve as primary client liaison for schedule, budget, scope.
• Encourage teamwork and design excellence.
• Incorporate quality control measures into project plan and fee.
