Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for subject and level assigned.
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Present material per TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Use varied instructional strategies and materials to engage students.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula as needed.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers as required.
• Incorporate technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
