IRVING INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT seeks a dedicated Teacher to deliver core academic instruction and support student growth across grade levels. Responsibilities include planning lessons, using data to tailor instruction, managing the classroom, and collaborating with special education staff to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, valid Texas teaching certificate for the subject/level, completion of Texas Reading Academy for Elementary, and ESL Supplemental

Formación

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree and valid Texas teaching certificate for assigned subject/level.
• Texas Reading Academy completion required for Elementary.
• ESL Supplemental Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement plans for the curriculum program assigned and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Present the subject matter according to guidelines established by TEA, board policies, and admin regulations.
• Access and use available data to plan and implement instructional strategies and materials reflecting student needs.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidelines.
• Cooperate with staff to plan and implement instructional goals, objectives and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and supervise assignments for teacher aides or volunteers in the classroom.
• Use technology to strengthen and enhance teaching and learning.
