Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Texas teaching certification preferred or ability to obtain within two years.
• Experience in a K-12 setting with a track record of student achievement.

Responsibilities

• Utilize daily speaking, writing, reading, and listening to support students’ language acquisition and progress on TELPAS.
• Implement state standards and Étoile Academy Charter School curricula and assessments to meet academic expectations.
• For Math, utilize scripted curriculum with daily lessons, exit tickets, homework, and assessments.
• Learn, master, and deliver grade-level content and objectives.
• Submit weekly lesson plans two weeks in advance for feedback.
• Track student progress with assessments and update gradebook weekly.
• Communicate students’ progress with students and families weekly.
• Maintain REACH behavior expectations and foster a positive classroom culture.
• Collaborate in weekly PD and data-driven planning meetings.
• Travel between two campuses as needed.
