Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Experience in a classroom setting preferred.
• State certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach core content using scripted curriculum to Etoile students;
• Internalize lessons and prepare for lesson execution;
• Manage a classroom using school-wide discipline system;
• Implement assessments to track progress and update grade book weekly;
• Analyze data from MAP, MCLASS, and i-Ready to personalize learning;
• Support English Language Learners’ growth;
• Communicate students’ progress with families daily and weekly;
• Facilitate use of technology to improve achievement and manage tasks;
• Implement behavior management system and foster community in classroom;
• Participate in school events, meetings and after-school duties;
• Attend staff meetings, open houses, conferences;
• Build cooperative relationships with students and families;
• Host tutoring sessions to meet student needs;
• Engage in weekly manager check-ins and grade-level meetings;
• Participate in district, school and personal learning and development;
• Commit to 40+ hours on site per week;
• Additional duties may include after-school tutoring or Saturday school.

Skills
