Job summary

Yonkers Partners in Education (YPIE) is seeking a Program Manager to support high school students on their journey to college and career success through academic coaching and career-focused instruction. This role will focus on the development of the Science Research Program in Jersey City, teaching essential research skills and guiding students to conduct original scientific research for competitions.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of teaching experience, particularly in coaching Science Research students. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and personalized learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching/facilitating student learning required.
• Demonstrated experience with Science Research coaching or teaching.
• Willingness to travel to program sites.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through the research process for science fairs.
• Provide feedback on research proposals and presentations.
• Collaborate with other teachers to co-plan instruction.
• Manage student records and communicate with stakeholders.
