Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least 5 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of infection control policies and safety regulations.
• Strong computer skills with word processing, spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager and faculty to schedule biology, chemistry, environmental science, geology, and physics labs.
• Maintain inventory and QA of all lab items; cataloguing and labeling.
• Track and coordinate budget expenditures for laboratory needs.
• Prepare requisitions for timely arrival of lab materials.
• Direct and monitor laboratory safety protocols and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Monitor lab communications with instructors regarding labs.
• Develop hygiene plans and maintain safety data centers.
• Supervise student workers in laboratory preparations.
