Lone Star College is seeking a Part-Time Science Lab Coordinator II at the Cypress Center in Katy, TX. The role supports biology, chemistry, environmental science, geology, and physics labs, coordinating schedules, inventory, and safety compliance.

The Part-Time Science Lab Coordinator II supports and manages laboratory materials, supplies, equipment, and laboratory experiences. This is accomplished through close coordination with the professors' lectures and a professional knowledge of the sciences. Primarily performs coordination duties characterized by facilitating the harmonious working of peers or colleagues toward the same end. Coordinators do not generally directly supervise staff.
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Hourly Pay Rate is $20.70.
