You will coordinate with professors and maintain inventory, track budgets, prepare requisitions, and oversee laboratory safety protocols to ensure smooth operation of the sciences labs.

• Maintain inventory and quality assurance of all science lab items, including cataloguing and labeling of all lab materials.
• Tracks and coordinates budget expenditures.
• Prepares requisitions for the timely arrival of all lab-related materials under the direction of the manager.
• Directs and monitors laboratory safety protocols.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Part-Time Science Lab Coordinator II supports and manageslaboratory materials, supplies, equipment, and laboratoryexperiences. This is accomplished through close coordination withthe professors' lectures and a professional knowledge of thesciences. Primarily performs coordination duties characterized byfacilitating the harmonious working of peers or colleagues towardthe same end. Coordinators do not generally directly supervisestaff.
