Job summary

Wenatchee School District seeks a Para Educator, Science Field Experience Specialist to manage logistics for K-6 science field experiences. Collaborate with the Science Resource Center to plan events, coordinate scheduling, volunteers, and site setup.

Open to candidates with an AA degree or equivalent; strong organizational and communication skills are required. Duties include transportation planning, inventory, and post-field feedback while supporting SRC and district partners.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent or PRAXIS test completed.
• Experience in science education, curriculum and instruction.
• Experience in ordering, purchasing and inventory management.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities.
• Ability to work with multiple staff and volunteers.
• Proficiency with Word processing and spreadsheet tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute logistics of K-6 science field experiences.
• Create the Science Field Experience Master Schedule and communicate with teachers.
• Coordinate transportation, permits, and materials for field experiences.
• Recruit and train volunteers and substitutes for field activities.
• Ensure pre/post-field communications and surveys with stakeholders.
