Job summary

Pacific Science Center in Seattle, WA seeks an Education Supply Lead to manage inventory, organize materials, and distribute supplies for education programs across camps, outreach, theater, and events.

The role leads a summer team of supply assistants, coordinates donations, ensures safety and waste disposal compliance, and collaborates with the Education division to support IDEA and program development.

Qualifications

• Experience directing or coordinating the work of staff or volunteers
• Valid WA driver's license with at least five years of driving history
• First Aid/AED/CPR certification
• WA State Food Handler's permit or willingness to obtain
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Experience in informal education settings or camps is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Inventory, organize, maintain and distribute education program supplies
• Collaborate across education programs including camps, outreach, theater, and events
• Lead a team of seasonal supply assistants during the summer
• Coordinate collection and preparation of donated materials
• Coordinate sorting, storage and disposal of specialty waste
• Support camp administration and planning, including hiring and training
• Provide technical support for new educational programs and improvements
