Job summary

Acceleration Academies seeks a Science Content Coach to provide competency-based science instruction and personalized learning to Graduation Candidates (GCs). The role involves guiding students toward graduation and post‑secondary success within a collaborative team setting.

You will support GC enrollment, develop personalized learning plans, and monitor progress while delivering targeted instruction in small groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Texas 7-12 secondary certification in Science/Life Science or Physical Science (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, time management, instructional planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support GC enrollment through recruitment and engagement.
• Develop Personal Learning Plans for GCs.
• Advise and maintain communication with learners and their support team.
• Monitor attendance, progress, and wellbeing for engagement and achievement.
• Plan and deliver content-area instruction in individual and small groups.
• Assess progress using formative and summative assessments.
