You will translate complex research into accessible content for public audiences, support earned media, and contribute to web content for multiple units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a science writer for Texas A&M AgriLife, elevating clarity and impact of research storytelling.
• Write and edit science-driven stories for AgriLife Today and other channels.
• Translate technical findings into accessible narratives for digital newsroom distribution and earned media.
• Coordinate with leadership, social media, photo/video, media relations, web, and design teams.
• Build relationships with unit leaders to surface newsworthy content and track publications, grants and milestones.
