Texas A&M Engineering seeks a Communications Specialist II to write news features highlighting faculty, students and research for the Engineering News site. You will identify and support storytelling opportunities across print, multimedia, social, online and media relations.

This role collaborates with the content strategy team and works with multimedia, social and design teams to develop content packages and ensure timely storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Writes news features highlighting faculty, students and research for the Engineering News site.
• Identifies, researches and supports storytelling opportunities across print, multimedia, social, online and media relations.
• Assists the content strategy team with content review and creation as needed.
• Collaborates with multimedia, social media and design teams to develop content packages for stories.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
