Job summary

PRO Pediatric Services in Monroeton, PA, seeks a Behavioral Health Worker to support students with behavioral challenges in K-9, Autistic Support, and Emotional Support classrooms. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:15am–3:30pm, based in a local intermediate unit.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, running daily social-emotional groups, and modeling positive behavior. A Bachelor’s in Social Services is required, with 1+ year of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services required.
• Experience working with children with behavioral challenges preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience with children with behavioral challenges.
• Completion of the 40 hour RBT training highly preferred.
• Current clearances within 6 months; Safety-Care certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior support to students within the classroom.
• Support individual behavioral plans and interventions.
• Run daily social-emotional groups.
• Provide direct behavioral instruction and model appropriate behavior.
• Assist with data collection and progress notes.

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services is required
• Strong desire and motivation to work with children/youth with a behavioral health diagnosis
• A minimum of one-year experience working with children with behavioral challenges
• Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Worker is highly preferred
• Completion of the 40 hour RBT training is highly preferred. A free course can be found through Autism Partnership Foundation.
• Current clearances (within 6 months); Safety-Care certification is a plus
