Job summary

Washington Elementary School District in Glendale, AZ is seeking a part-time crossing guard to help students cross safely at posted crosswalks and school zones, enforce crosswalk procedures, and support district safety efforts.

Qualifications

• Must complete District Crossing Guard Training Program prior to performing duties.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid AZ Identity Verified Prints (AZ IVP FPCC) clearance.

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors, and assists students to cross at established crosswalks and school zones.
• Alerts motorists and stops traffic to allow students to cross.
• Maintains discipline and monitors student behavior per district policies.
• Attends safety trainings and crosswalk training programs; performs other duties as required.
