Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs, monitors, and assists students and community members to cross at established crosswalks and school zones.
• Alerts motorists to the presence of students by displaying signs and stops traffic to cross.
• Maintains discipline and monitors student behavior per district policies and procedures.
• Places and removes signs for school zones and wears reflective clothing during crossing duties.
• Attends district and school meetings and completes safety training programs.
• Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
