Job summary

Ideal Instruction is seeking a talented videographer to film in school settings, documenting teaching practices and interviewing teachers and students. You will leverage your videography and audio skills to deliver high-quality footage for professional development resources.

In addition to filming, you will contribute to AI tool development by applying your video expertise to create and produce AI-assisted learning content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in video production and four years’ experience required.
• Prior experience filming in classrooms and live events is a must.
• Must own equipment including a 4K video camera with unlimited recording time and professional audio gear.
• Must have reliable internet to upload footage to Google Drive within 48 hours after each assignment.
• Ability to capture long continuous lesson footage (45–90 minutes) with steady, mobile footage.
• Capable of working independently with school staff on site with a professional, upbeat demeanor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; AI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Punctual arrival on site for all filming assignments per director’s instructions.
• Attend virtual meetings to confirm filming priorities and logistics.
• Grow and improve videography skills to meet instructional filming criteria.
• Work quickly under short timelines while maintaining professionalism on site.
• The role pays $50–$75 per hour on a freelance basis.
