Job summary

School District 27J (Inc) in Colorado is seeking a Transportation Scheduler/Dispatcher to maintain two-way radio and telephone communications, ensuring safe, on-time and efficient district transportation. You will direct drivers over the radio and keep an accurate daily log to support operations.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1–3 years in school transportation, and CDL/B endorsement within 3 months. DOT fitness and CPR/First Aid within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 3 years of experience in school transportation.
• Must obtain CDL with B endorsement within 3 months of hire.
• Must pass DOT physical exam at time of hire.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required within 90 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing two-way radio and telephone communication for safe, on-time transportation.
• Direct drivers over the radio and maintain a log of daily events.
• Assist Director with data collection to support reports.
• Adhere to district and department policies and regulations during bus incidents.
• Pass background checks and employer screenings as required.
