27J Schools is seeking a Transportation Scheduler/Dispatcher to maintain two-way radio and telephone communications to ensure safe, on-time bus service for the district. You will direct drivers and keep an accurate daily log while coordinating with the Transportation Department.
The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in school transportation, and the ability to obtain a CDL with P2-S endorsement within 3 months. Colorado background checks apply; benefits are available.

Description: 27J Schools is currently seeking a Transportation Scheduler/Dispatcher to maintain ongoing two-way radio and telephone communication to facilitate safe, on-time and efficient transportation for the school district. Provides direction and control for drivers over the radio and maintain accurate log of daily events. May assist with translation and/or communication using second language skills when possible. Assist the Director with data collection to support all reports needed. Must have an understanding of district and department policies and procedures, state and federal regulations when responding to a bus breakdown, accident, lost student/student management concerns. SALARY: Classified Grade T starting at $27.85 per hour to start, depending on recent relevant experience. 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. 215 day / 10 month work schedule. Must be able to pass a Colorado and Federal Bureau of Investigation background check.
