Job summary

27J Schools is seeking a Transportation Scheduler/Dispatcher to maintain two-way radio and telephone communications to ensure safe, on-time bus service for the district. You will direct drivers and keep an accurate daily log while coordinating with the Transportation Department.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1–3 years in school transportation, and the ability to obtain a CDL with P2-S endorsement within 3 months. Colorado background checks apply; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months to 2 years of Google Suite/Drive and general office experience.
• Knowledge of two-way dispatch radio and phone systems.
• 1–3 years in school transportation.
• Must obtain CDL with B license and P2-S endorsement within 3 months.
• Must pass DOT physical; First Aid/CPR within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain two-way radio and telephone communications to ensure safe, on-time transportation.
• Provide driver direction over the radio and keep a daily log of events.
• Assist the Director with data collection for reports.
• Follow district policies and state/federal regulations during incidents.
• Background checks per Colorado and FBI requirements.
