Zūm Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Dispatcher to lead daily transportation operations at our Roanoke area location.

You will act as the communication hub, orchestrating drivers, vehicles, and routes while coordinating with school districts, families, and internal teams to ensure safe, on‑time student transport. You will thrive under pressure, balancing multiple tasks, communicating clearly, and making quick, smart decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in high‑pressure, time‑sensitive operations.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Ability to coordinate drivers, routes and emergencies efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor daily driver assignments and route coverage.
• Communicate route details to drivers and assist with routing.
• Coordinate vehicle service with Maintenance Manager.
• Respond to emergencies and notify stakeholders promptly.
• Maintain route records to ensure compliance with district/state rules.
